Crewing for Hot Air Balloons

What does 'crewing' for hot air balloons mean?

We are the people that help the pilot get their balloons in the air, track them in flight and, after flying, pack the balloon back into their vehicles.

Hot air balloons are stored, generally disassembled, in either a trailer, the back of a pick-up or the back of a van. To fly them they must first be unloaded, assembled and inflated; that's where we come in.
